Samsung will introduce the One UI 7 update at the Samsung Developer Conference (SDC) next October. The tests for this update, which is expected to be based on Android 15, have entered a new phase. Accordingly, the technology giant is conducting some tests with the Galaxy S24 family.
One UI 7 tests are being conducted for Galaxy S24+
Samsung will announce One UI 7 in October. After this announcement, the beta process is expected to start for flagship devices. Recent reports revealed that Android 15-based One UI 7 tests have started for the Galaxy S24+. This means that the device will be one of the first models to receive the update.
Galaxy S24+’s performance tests with the new software were also revealed. Accordingly, it scored 2114 points in single-core performance and 6616 points in multi-core performance on Geekbench. Since it is an unoptimized beta version, it is possible to say that it has lower scores than One UI 6.1.
It seems likely that Samsung will introduce One UI 7 at SDC 2024 and roll out the beta update to Galaxy S24 models in August next year. Of course, we should not forget that the Galaxy S25 family will be introduced in January.
New features include Galaxy AI-based artificial intelligence capabilities and a revamped version of the app drawer. Of course, it should be noted that it will include all the innovations to be offered with Android 15.
On the other hand, the date of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, which has been included in many leaks for a long time, has finally been officially announced. The event, which is expected to introduce many new Galaxy devices, will be held in Paris on July 10, as claimed.
